🌟🌈🌟 MORE AURORA BOREALIS – magic for the new year!

During the past few days, I loved seeing your newest creations in the Beadingschool Club—older and newer designs, color combinations that are all-time favorites, and also super nice new ones.

Every day, you keep inspiring me in beadwork and way beyond the frame of my bead mat and the door of my beading room.

Slowly approaching my 40th birthday might be the cause why I am often thinking about where this beady path might lead and where our community will be in 5, 10, 15 years.

But besides continuously cooking up plans, I also like to think about the beginnings. While I do my best to focus on positive things, I must admit that it wasn’t always as easy as it might have been seen from the outside.

I vividly remember the time after finishing university and choosing the beading world instead of research; the most frequent question I faced was if I really believed that it would work out someday.

If there are people out there who might be interested in what I can offer to them and will see the value of it.

Years have passed, and indeed, there came obstacles. Expenses that I didn’t factor in. A less than empty bank account. Shipping disruptions. Personal problems. Health issues. Covid and war affecting the world.

However, as days, months and years have passed, besides the challenges came not only more experience to overcome them, but most importantly, sparkle in the eyes and smiles on faces.

The growing Beadingschool Team, our beloved partners – manufacturers, and you, beaders who are here with us today, who were here during the past years, during the adventures we prepared for you.

And I hope that you will spend with us the upcoming year and enjoy all the different Beadingschool experiences of 2024, too.

Seeing this all coming together and witnessing your beading journeys and friendships are a miracle for me.

You are all the ‘yes’ that I answered back then, and even more than I could have imagined. No matter what, it keeps my belief that the world is beautiful around us, and it’s a good place to be. Magic comes into our lives when we invite it in – with creativity and kindness towards each other.

We also enclosed a bit of magic into the first Beadingschool Academy Theme Boxes of 2024.

We tried to catch the essence of a natural wonder and transform it into beads, crystals, sparkly components to remember the beautiful possibilities of the world around us. The inspiration behind the January-February Theme is something that many of you wished for when I asked the question what kind of inspiration would you like to work with.

It is Aurora Borealis. It is also the name of one of the effects that we love the most on our crystals, but first of all, it’s a beautiful atmospheric phenomenon.

The northern lights, or the aurora borealis, are beautiful dancing waves of light that have captivated people for millennia.

During the upcoming two months, this is the source of inspiration that we are going to focus on.

On Thursday morning, we will start shipping the Aurora Borealis Theme Boxes.
