Find out more

  • All Beadingschool Academy Boxes travel as a registered package with track&trace. Shipping is included in the price, and you can even ask for topping up your boxes to take full advantage of free shipping!
  • When you sign up, your first payment will be charged right away. In case of bi-monthly payment, the next payment will be due at the beginning of the next period. (Themes: January-February, March-April, May-June, July-August, September-October, November-December.)
  • Boxes will start traveling around the 10. day of each theme, for example on the 10th of November for the November-December theme.
  • All tutorials that you receive are brand-new, designed to go with the style and content of your box. They will be available outside of the Beadingschool Academy, but for a higher price.
  • The boxes are not kits. They contain all the beads and components for the tutorials that are designed for the topic, plus a lot more

IT’S FOR YOU, IF…

You already have some experience with beading. You are familiar with basic stitches like Peyote, you know what Japanese seed beads (Miyuki or Toho), fire-polished beads and cabochons are.

You can follow a written beading tutorial with illustrations.

You’re just getting to know beadwork, and you have experience only with stringing. If you’re just starting to explore the world of beads, we recommend checking out our basic tutorials and our YouTube channel, and come back here when you have gathered some experience with basic stitches.

You prefer fast stringing projects instead of spending a whole evening (or two) with one complicated jewel.

What can I find in the boxes?
The boxes are fully stuffed with high-quality, inspiring components that are curated with a special theme on mind. Opening the box feels like stepping into the story!
Is shipping included?
Yes, registered shipping with track&trace number is included. Moreover, if you have a TURQUOISE or FUCHSIA level Beadingschool Academy membership, you can add other products from the Bead Shop and take full advantage of the free shipping provided with your Beadingschool Box.
Why is it such a good value?
If you bought the beads one-by-one in our bead shop, you’d pay a lot more for them. And still, you wouldn’t get tutorial(s), and the articles, the fun, and everything, that are included in your Beadingschool Academy membership.
Do you deliver world-wide?
Yes, we do – from the USA to Singapure through Sweden, Costa Rica and the Maldives, it doesn’t matter where do you live – we’ll get your beads to you!
How do I receive the tutorials?
You’ll receive the tutorials as pdf files that you can save to your computer or print if you like. They will always be available in your membership area.
Which level is the best for me?
If you would like to get the tutorial for a better price then in the bead shop, but would like to skip the beads, articles, and the learning area, choose the yellow option. If you enjoy opening packages, would like a new tutorial, and enjoy reading about inspiration, art, special places, etc. – the turquoise level is the best for you. For eminent Beadingschool Students, to receive a truly BIG box and get it all, go for the fuchsia level!
Can I choose a different level later?
Yes, you can switch to a lower or higher level later, by navigating to the 'My account'area.
How long will the learning area be accessible?
As long as Beadingschool exists – so hopefully forever and ever!
Will I have access to previous topics if I pause/stop my membership?
You will always have access to the themes that you’ve purchased previously.
What if I need help with a tutorial?
We’ll have a designated area to ask and answer questions about tutorials.
Do I get access to the learning area, lunch break room and articles with all three levels of the Beadingschool Academy membership?
The lunch-break room, articles and learning area are part of the turquoise and fuchsia level, but not the yellow.
Is it going to be beadweaving or bead embroidery?
The main focus will be beadweaving. Every once in a while there might be a component for embroidery, but that will happen only exceptionally.
When do I get access to the learning area?
The Beadingschool Academy learning center opens on the 15. September. Afterward, you get access right away after payment and after a theme is launched. The articles and tutorials will be added gradually, just like lessons and homework in a real school, for example for Septemer-October they will appear one-by-one from 15. September until 15. October.

ABOUT ERIKA AND THE BEADINGSCHOOL

I’ve always felt a deep need for self-expression. Originally, I wanted to be a writer or a linguist, however, the stress while studying for my final exams at university brought beads into my life, and these little pieces of glass never left since then. It was more than a decade ago…

Beading became not only my hobby but my passion, my life, my quest. When I see the happy faces of my students or read their e-mails and posts, I know that designing and teaching beadwork is where I can bring the biggest possible dose of happiness, and this is where I can use my skills and experience in the best possible way.

The Beadingschool is an extension of my atelier to make you feel like you are pulling out my drawers, looking into my organizers and that we are selecting beads for your next jewel together. Our Beadingschool Team is taking exquisite care of your precious bead orders, to make you feel like it’s Christmas even if you open a box in July.
