#ClubDesigns is a series of articles on the Beadingschool blog and a series of posts in the Beadingschool Club on Facebook.
Erika says:
“Since the beginning of the first COVID-lockdown, we bead together every Friday, to make sure that #NoOneHasToBeadAlone.
We bead a different jewel every week – designed specifically for the workshop. Afterward, it’s really fun to see all the variations beaders come up with! Not only colors differ, but very often a pendant becomes a brooch, a motif that was originally an earring is modified into a bracelet or a ring. Moreover, sometimes it happens that not all the bead shapes are available to someone – and she needs to alter the original design to make it work.”
The #ClubDesigns series is the collection of this beady wisdom.
Autumna Pendant
Like an autumn flower modestly looking for the last strays of sunshine from a depth of a valley. We could not definitely say that about Autumna! She is sparkly, she is standout and definitely very versatile.

Autumna Earrings beaded by Mary Elizabeth Null

I turned the Autumna pattern into earrings! I absolutely love them!

Autumn is so colorful! This is what we can see back in the results of the #NoOneHasToBeadAlone session’s dearly loved pattern. Depends on which part of the Globe you live, you will find your own inspiration to put into it.
Nancy says:
I’ve been dying to catch up with you all & make Autumna. Wanted an autumn look. Plan to make a couple more to put together into a necklace.
Erika says about Faye’s piece:
So obvious, that while the majority of us are heading into autumn, for you spring is coming Beautiful piece!
Catching colors from Marianne Epping (left) and Katalin Dudas (right)
The ladies made their pieces pop extra with using some backlit GemDuos.
Adding just the right amount of extra:
Left: Vania Stabnov Jacobs
Top right: Deb Taylor
Bottom right: Sandra Lindahl
Vania tried out metal painting the first time. This hand painted fairy definitely gives a nice touch to her piece and transporting us into a different dimension. I especially like how she matched the the color of the fairy’s wings to the bail. That very same color comes back in the fire polished beads as well.
Deb added a beautiful golden leaf to her design to support the autumn theme even more.
Sandra says:
Autumna I had both the clasp and fairy for quite some time and thought it would work well for the Art Nouveau theme In the back of the pendant I made a peyote loop that the herringbone rope could go through.
Make it complete!

The ladies decided to take the pattern a step further. They used their creativity and made a more complex necklace or a set, using part of the Autumna element. What a great idea!
Tanja says:
First Autumna set is ready…as I said yesterday, this is one of my favourite motifs of #NoOneHasToBeadAlone..for my first colorcombination I wanted to go for Autumncolors…for the second set I also have a colorcombination in my head, hopefully my stash can give me what I want …thank you Erika for this stunning motif
Stunning necklace made by Ludmila Turzova
When you work with rivolis or chatons, you want to make some extra steps to protect the bezeled piece. Ludka showed us howed she protects her piece. Seeing how great it turned out, it was worth the invested time and effort.
Ludka says:
My Autumna has grown … I made a necklace. It was a pleasure to bead this beautiful motif …. Erika is another wonderful motif – rich, luxurious big thank you for it .

Every pendant deserve an eye-catcher
Pendant beaded by Natasha Wiegelman on the left and Neeti Khanna-Mehrotr on the right
Natasha supported her pendant with a flower shaped filigree and mounted a greatly faceted crystal on the bottom. Neeti made a tassel by herself by using seed beads, fire polished and bicone beads.
Because you can incorporate anything into bead embroidery!
This creative piece was beaded by Tammy Netzer. She used cork as foundation for her work and paired it with cork rope. All the crystals and transparent fire polished beads surrounded by the metallic beads on natural surface is truly exceptional.
