Get to know the Beadingschool Team better

Hi everyone, I am Erika Sandor. Beadingschool grew out from my own beading room. 

Beads are my passion, and spreading the love of beadwork is my personal quest in life. Beads helped me through stressful times, and helped me to process a trauma that I was carrying on my back as a heavy package since my childhood. Thanks to the colours, the playfulness, and thanks to the beading community I learned that I can create value and I feel calmer, happier, stronger. The package is getting lighter – sometimes I even forget that it’s there!

Feeling proud, fulfilled, and being part of a like-minded, cheerful group is the feeling that I’d like to help to experience around bead mats all around the world.

Hi! This is Andrea. I am supporting Erika and the team when it comes to operations, projects, and organization.

Sometimes I annoy the team with spreadsheets or too many new ideas 🙂 I like to see when things run smoothly and our beaders are happy. I adore Erika and her talent from our high school time and I am glad to be part of this exciting journey.

I like statistics and yoga postures, together with traveling and foreign cuisine they always create a smile on my face.

Hi, I’m Adam, and most of the time I’m making the coffee that keeps Erika going, but during the time in between I tend to the website and our office software. It’s surprising even to me how much IT is involved in keeping Beadingschool.com up and running! My favorite part is when Erika comes up with a new idea and I can make it happen.

In my spare time, I fly fighter jets on my computer and go biking when I feel like getting some fresh air.

Hello, I’m Zuzi! I met Erika in her store in Slovakia in 2010. The love for beads with Erika’s support took my creativity to a brand new level. I had a full time job but spent almost all my free time with beading (of course!) and then selling my finished jewelry at festivals and markets at weekends. The greatest change brought my family. I didn’t return to my old job, but beads, Erika’s Beadingschool and the community around stayed. I’ve preferred bead embroidery for a long time, but bead weaving got under my skin and I love it. It’s a brand new experience and I love to learn.

Nowadays, I enjoy being part of the creative and marketing team – bringing inspiration, writing articles, preparing designs and adding my bit to the Beadingschool’s social media life.

If I have a free moment and it’s not connected to beading, then I love to go for walks, explore new places for inspiration.

Hi, I am Veronika. I’m working as a creative assistant.

I enjoy preparing tutorials for our beaders and designing new jewels, or helping the creative team. Seeing everyone being happy with a new jewel is a truly rewarding feeling for me. This job is a dream come true, as I got to work with what is my passion, and I have a really supportive team. ♥ I have always admired the beautiful beaded jewels made by my dear friend Zuzi, and one time I decided to try it as well. Zuzi was incredibly helpful and told me about Erika and Beadingschool, and that’s how it all started. And I am so, so very thankful to Zuzi, and to Erika as well, that she gave me this opportunity.

Besides work, I am still on maternity leave, as I have 2 small children. I have an active lifestyle, I like working out, and baking. I love all things around fantasy, LOTR, Marvel,… and I enjoy hot sunny days with my partner, friends and an icecream (or a beer :).

Hi, I’m Bea. I’m from a small village located in Eastern Slovakia, but I live in Komarno now.

I joined the Beadingschool Team last summer. I’m the one reading every single message, a point of contact that cares 🙂 I always try to put myself in our beaders’ shoes and make sure I can understand their needs as much as possible. Sometimes I’m also packing orders in the Treasury. Recently I’m doing content on our social media platforms – Instagram stories, and unboxing videos, which I really enjoy!

I love being part of the Beadingschool team and working with my colleagues together to achieve the best results and make sure our beaders are happy. I like the positive atmosphere here. I always look forward to the opportunity to make our beaders feel special and valued. 

In my spare time, I love to do anything, which fulfills me with positive vibes – spending time with my loved ones, cooking, watching movies, roller skating, and going out in nature.

Hi, I’m Edina. I’m from Eastern Slovakia, but living in Komarno. I used to work as a teacher.

I’ve been part of the Beadingschool team for a year. I’m taking care of the material purchasing, preparing bundles, and adding new products to the webshop. I love our helpful, funny, and kind team, and what I love the most is that the work is never boring and literally colorful 🙂

In my free time, I like cycling, hiking, and having other well-spent time with my little family.

Hi, my name is Timea, I am from Komarno. I have been working at Beadingschool since summer of 2020. It is amazing to be part of it and see it grow.

I arrange back office duties most of the time, so you can’t see me a lot 🙂 but you might see the photos I have taken for the website and the boxes I have prepared for you with care and love. I coordinate the packing processes, making sure you get the best quality you need and deserve.

I love nature and spending time outside. I like traveling with my family. As a mother of 2 young boys, it is not always easy to balance work and private life, but I am doing my best 🙂

Hi, I’m Kati, I live in Komarno and I’m a proud and happy grandmother of our little baby boss.

I love being part of this community and working together with my daughter, Andrea. I’ve been part of the Beadingschool team for a year. My main task is to keep things running smoothly when it comes to administration, invoices, and everything which is connected to numbers 🙂 Besides this, I often help to pack the shinies for you.

And what do I love the most about my job? Great company! We are like a little family and of course, we always have a kind word toward each other. I also love when there is everything all right with numbers, of course 😀

Hi, my name is Henrietta. I have been living in Komarno for almost 15 years now. I got independent early and after finishing school I spent 2yrs in Australia.

I’ve been part of the Beadingschool Team for more than a year. I’m leading the Treasury team and I prepare your orders with lots of love and care together with Anna. I like to keep our Treasury organized so things run smoothly and packages can be on their way to you as fast as possible 🙂 I love being part of Beadingschool Team. Everyone is super helpful and we are always here for each other when someone needs a helping hand. I love that Andrea and Erika really take care of the Team. I always love to see our beaders’ posts about receiving a package from us, it makes me smile that something we prepared makes them happy 🙂

In my free time, I love to travel, I would always be on the road if I could 😀 I love nature and to get familiar with other cultures, people and of course to try the more interesting local specialties 🙂 I also love yoga, roller skating, cycling, and hiking, walking together with my partner.

Hi, my name is Anna. I live in Komarno.

I’ve been a part of the team since September 2022. I’m the one who is packing, preparing, and sending your orders with lots of love and care. My favorite part of my job is that I am surrounded by lovely and kind people and there are always some shinies waiting for me to pack for you.

In my free time I love everything that fills my mind with creative and positive thoughts – especially sewing. My favorite is the patchwork technique. Besides this, I love spending my nights with a great cup of tea and reading.
