We have a new box landing on our beadmats, ‘Everlasting Kiss‘.  Let’s bead together the newest collection of Beadingschool Academy jewels!

You can bead these jewels from the November/December Theme Box of the Beadingschool Academy. As a Beadingschool Academy Student, you receive one or two signature jewel tutorials depending on your membership. Every Thursday, we bring you a #NoOneHasToBeadAlone workshop where you can use the same material. You can download these tutorials as gifts from Beadingschool for a limited time – 3 days after a workshop.

Additional tutorials will be available in the Bead Shop, and there might be more in beading magazines, and made by our friends – designers.

BECOME A STUDENT OF THE BEADINGSCHOOL ACADEMY!

If you are a Beadingschool Academy Student, I highly recommend putting together ‘mini kits’ for the jewels you’d like to make, according to our recent Blog article!

This way, you can make sure that you can finish everything that you’d like to. There are many possibilities to use the precious content of the Box, as not only the Beadingschool Creative Team but fellow designers are also designing jewels for you, and sometimes you’ll need to make decisions about how you’d like to use a component or add something from your stash if you’d like to bead them all.

ALCHEMY OF LOVE BY GIULIANA

Alchemy of Love is what we feel when two Souls meet; when we stroll through a blooming meadow; when we admire a work of art; when we create something beautiful; when we care for ourselves and for others. It is the joy and fullness that arise from living life deeply.

With this set, I wanted to tell the story of that alchemy, inspired by the painting: the central module of the bracelet, with its crystal embraced by dark beads, holds the solidity and protection of the masculine presence; the light modules, adorned with a metal flower, bloom with feminine grace and vitality, immersed in a flowering meadow that celebrates Life. The contrasts between light and dark, between larger and smaller modules, evoke Life with all its moments of brightness and shadow: every instant becomes part of a balance that continually renews itself. The gold that wraps every detail recalls the preciousness of lived moments, and the light each of us carries within — shining outward to those around us.

This jewel is the first signature – part of Fuchsia, Turquoise and Yellow Beadingschool Academy membership.

DEVOTION BY ERIKA

What does devotion mean, when it comes to a kiss – and love? Devotion, so we give up ourselves – our dreams, our desires, our true colors – in order to blend together with the shades of another soul? I do not agree…
Love requires devotion indeed, but a different kind, not the one advertised by romantic movies and books wrapped in pink. It requires devotion to stay true – to our values, to show up every day for our loved ones with kindness. Accepting each other’s flaws.  Devotion to build a lasting foundation, that withstands the weather beyond the golden, sunny days.

CINDERELLA BY VERONKA

Once, during every Beadingschool Academy Theme, we bead a RETRO #NoOneHasToBeadAlone design. This time, we returned to Cinderella earrings.

ANNIVERSARY BY VERONKA

The circular shape of this pendant reminds me of the cyclical nature of time. With a hidden star, to remind us to celebrate all our merry anniversaries, small or big, all are worthy of remembrance and rejoicing! 

I love circular bezels. The shape soothes my soul, and also gives me a challenge to try to do it a little bit differently each time. This time I went for a small Miyuki Bugles, which are perfect for creating airy and still strong construction, and are just so cute. I love them, especially when combined with the dark cabochon. The contrast is fascinating, and they complement each other very well.

This jewel is the second signature – part of the Fuchsia Beadingschool Academy membership.

I DO BY VERONKA

These earrings add a bit of cheerful rarity to any special day. Or even to any “normal” day, when you simply feel like you could use that extra sparkle. They look like something I would wear to my wedding. And maybe I will :-).

Truly outstanding in terms of sparkle, they also wanted an interesting construction. So I gave it to them. The gorgeous centerpiece in the middle really deserved it.

SILENT EMBRACE BY ZUZI 

In the hush between two heartbeats, there is a meeting place where words dissolve and only presence remains. ‘Silent Embrace’ captures that moment—when two forms lean toward one another, not in urgency, but in quiet recognition. Lines and curves converge and become a pause in time: the central rectangle standing steady like a grounded soul, the surrounding beads in the form of a navette shape arch toward it in gentle devotion, leaving space for breath, glow, and possibility. It is the embrace that needs no witness, no language—only the soft shimmer of connection held in stillness.

Tip: Decorate your filigree brooch base, or connect more motifs into a necklace or bracelet!

GEOMETRIC EDEN PENDANT BY ANIKO

Geometric Eden is more than just a pendant; it’s a playful exploration of form, texture, and color.
Inspired by the unmistakable visual language of Gustav Klimt, the Geometric Eden reflects the quiet tension that defines so much of his work: strict geometry embracing a living, blooming world.
The upper part speaks in rhythm and structure, matte black and gold beads forming an abstract, almost architectural mosaic, echoing the iconic patterns seen in The Kiss. Below, the composition softens into movement: vines, flowers, and spirals unfold like a secret garden, rich with life and sensuality.
Regarding the tutorial, it is a flexible design. While the steps guide you through bead placement and technique, the design’s true charm comes from your personal touch: the subtle randomness of the beads, the interplay of masculine and feminine elements. This way, every pendant will be unique, reflecting your creativity and style. I hope you will enjoy the process. BELVEDERE PENDANT BY LAURA

I had the joy of visiting the Belvedere Palace in Vienna, where Klimt’s Kiss is displayed, five years ago, and it was an inspirational experience. The building itself is wonderful, an ornate masterpiece with beautiful gardens. I wanted to create something ornate that reflects both the details of painting and the beautiful building.

This piece is all about layering, and beaders can learn how to add increasingly intricate layers, which connect in a sturdy manner. The bezel uses odd count peyote, and is a strong bezel without being too enclosed.

TESORO BY LAURA

What I love most about Klimt’s painting is the depth and the detail: you can find something new in it every time you look. My dominant feeling from the painting is that of a relationship that is precious and treasured: the gold leaf creates this feeling of expense and grandeur, but the true wealth is in the intimacy of the moment and the bond between the two people. I wanted to create a motif that reflects the black panels in the painting and also the concept of treasuring wealth in our lives, not only in precious objects, but more in our treasured relationships. Tesoro is Spanish for treasure, and also contains the word ‘oro’ meaning gold.

Beaders will learn to create a sturdy, flat base using peyote stitch and how to attach Tila beads in a secure fashion. Sometimes it’s nice to have a multilayered design, where you can see the back row from the front, so some of the peyote peeps through the gaps between tilas!

EMILIE LOUISE BY RUXANDRA

This pendant was named after Emilie Louise Flöge, who was the life companion of the painter Gustav Klimt. She was an Austrian fashion designer and businesswoman. As an avant-garde designer, she pioneered “reform” dresses that liberated women from restrictive corsets, creating flowing, loose-fitting garments inspired by Art Nouveau and folk art. Although small, this pendant contains an outburst of light and sparkle, balanced by the elegance of the beautiful pearls included in this box. A tribute to another strong woman in history, at a time when it was so difficult to be one.

FRAMED KISS BY RUXANDRA

We put a frame around our most treasured memories, around our dear ones, around great works of art. Why not around a kiss? Seeing the amazing spacer bar included in this box, I felt it deserves the most special, central place of a piece, becoming the meeting place of several curvy lines, as it is in life. It became THE KISS, which deserves its own frame.

THE PROMISE BY VICKY

A kiss is wonderfully versatile: it can be a quick, casual peck shared between friends, or a symbolic gift like Peter Pan’s thimble to Wendy. But for lovers, a kiss is a deeply intimate gesture—an unmistakable promise of what lies ahead. A delicate necklace can also have the same effect as a kiss. Instead of taking centre stage like a bold accessory, it can be powerfully alluring, precisely because of its subtlety. It dances lightly on the neck, inviting a closer look and revealing an intimate glimpse into the wearer and a promise of what might be.

SEALED WITH A KISS BY VICKY

Have you ever written a letter and sealed the envelope with a kiss? A symbol of love that starts with the receiver opening the envelope, to the declaration inside. As I was making these earrings, I felt as if the design was almost like a love letter to my ears. The central stone is encased at the back, while the pearls gently fold inward embracing the sparkle, much like an envelope protecting a cherished message. Once finished, I was instantly in love with the result and couldn’t wait to wear them.

    There are many beautiful jewels but my favorite is the signature jewel of Guliana. the bracelet and earrings are very classy and elegant.
    I do however look forward to making some of the other items too.

    This Academy theme is colors are reminiscent of the holidays and the new year. How exciting to wear one of these created pieces to celebrate Love, Laughter, and Family. Oh the sparkles. Again, thank you for curating a great holiday!
