THETIS
The Thetis pendant is the first signature jewel that you can bead from your Thetis’s Treasure Box. The tutorial is included in all Turquoise, Fuchsia, and Yellow level memberships.
MATERIAL LIST
Every two month, we work with a different source of inspiration and a new, carefully selected assortment of beads at the Beadingschool Academy. This time, we are getting inspired by Greek mythology, working with turquoise, blue, green, silver, and white to match the colours of the Aegean Sea. We will publish the tutorials gradually over July and August ’22, while we are working with the Thetis’s Treasure Theme Box.
Let’s see the jewels that we created so far! Most of them are named after ‘nereids’ – sea nymphs. There are 50 nereids, daughters of the ancient sea god, Nereus. They are protectors of sailors and fisherman.
If you are a Beadingschool Academy Student, I highly recommend starting to put together ‘mini kits’ for the jewels that you’d like to make, to make sure that you can finish everything that you’d like to. There are many possibilities to use the precious content of the Box, as not only the Beadingschool Creative Team, but fellow designers are also designing jewels for you.
Thank you for being respectful towards Beadingschool and our fellow designers by waiting for the tutorials to be published.

ITHAKA BRACELET
This slim bracelet combines elements with a 6 mm Preciosa sew-on rhinestone in the middle and square stitch bezeled Nacre pearl cabochons.
MATERIAL LIST
ITHAKA EARRINGS
Matching the bracelet of the same name, the Ithaka earring tutorial is the second signature jewel from the Thetis’s Treasure collection.
MATERIAL LIST
AMATHEIA EARRINGS
Amatheia is one of the coolest nereids or ‘sea nymphs’ in Greek mythology. She takes care of fishes and other creatures!
The tutorial for the motif will be my gift to all our current Beadingschool Academy Students 🙂
MATERIAL LIST
DORIS BRACELET
The Doris motif was the first jewel that we beaded during a #NoOneHasToBeadAlone session from the Thetis’s Treasure Theme Box.
It’s elongated shape makes it perfect for a bracelet – it’s easy to join several motifs to each other through the Miyuki Delica, or even by adding something else in between, if you need to lengthen the bracelet or just want to make it more interesting. The 6 mm pressed glass bicone beads or any of the crystal connectors are perfect for it.
You can also make it into a pair of earrings, or even a pendant – personalise it for a 100%!
