This is probably my favourite beaded bead in Erika’s collection. The depth of colour and construction belie its simplicity, and the materials are a fantastic stash-buster for smaller quantities of leftovers from larger projects you might have recently created. I’m a huge fan of Gekko beads, so the fact that I had a chance to use some on a project that wasn’t a more traditionally-woven bracelet was also fun. Two of these work up to make a beautiful set of earrings, and several together with pearls between make an outstanding evening necklace, especially in black and white. I highly recommend this pattern!
