The brooch is a combination of a beaded motif and a bead embroidered base. There are no complex bezels or glue needed, which makes it great for beginners. The tutorial was easy to follow and the resulting jewel makes me want to bead it in other colours. It has just the right amount of sparkle, looks complex and substantial but is neither complicated to make nor heavy. Really really great tutorial!
