WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

With the HINT OF LIGHT beaded bead tutorial, I teach you how to create a fast but fancy beaded bead. The core can be a Miyuki cotton pearl, which I love because they are so light, but you can switch to a Preciosa Nacre pearl or a round glass bead, too. In the tutorial, I will first explain how to create the netting for the beaded bead and how to finish it off. Once you have enough beaded beads, you can arrange them into a complete necklace or earrings as I did. For the parts between the beaded beads, you can use anything you want, and make it as long or short as you feel comfortable.

When I was testing the thread path for the tutorial, I experimented with a different size of core bead: the 12 mm Preciosa Nacre pearl works, too, with some slight modifications in the material and the bead counts. I included this in the instructions to make sure that you can utilize your stash in the best possible way and have plenty of variety.

At the moment, our 10 mm Miyuki cotton pearls are all sold out. I apologise for this! We should get more very soon. In the future, we plan to create material packs (bead bundles) for the Calendar projects to make it easier for you to grab everything that you need.
