THE CELESTIAL LANTERN MINI CHALLENGE

We would like to invite you to join the Mini Challenge dedicated to the ongoing Beadingschool Academy Theme!

Everyone has a chance to win, and more importantly – to show the creativity and skills you’re developing with the Beadingschool Academy.
Don’t hesitate and make sure to enter! The main goal of the Challenge is to look into a mirror and see what we learned, how much we progressed, what did we enjoy the most. This can be the ‘crown jewel’ of your thematic collection, and a nice reminder of the time we spent exploring this Theme.

But besides that, there will also be two winners:

1. Lucky winner: random choice, try your luck!

2. Talent winner – beadweaving

3. Talent winner – bead embroidery

The Beadingschool Team will select the Talent winner who use round drop duo beads and at least one rectangle cabochon in the mini challenge entry design. We take into account the originality, technical skills, and connection to the Theme.

How to enter The Celestial Lantern Mini Challenge?

All students of the Beadingschool Academy can enter – yellow, turquoise, and fuchsia.
Submit a The Celestial Lantern-inspired and finished jewel: ONE single jewel (not a set). The jewel must be relevant to the Theme, and has to be completely finished and ready to wear. A pendant doesn’t have to have a cord but it needs to have a bail.
Please submit a single photo, not a collage. Post a photo without too many props, so the jewel stays in focus.
Use the form below for photo submission. Photos sent in emails and messages can’t be accepted.
You can submit your own design, or a design by Erika and fellow Beadingschool designers.
Play with original patterns, your improvements and innovations count! Please don’t submit designs from other designers than you or a designer connected to Beadingschool.
Please submit a newly made jewel that you created with the Theme on your mind. A random design in random colours won’t be accepted.
Each beader can submit one single jewel. It’s not possible to change the jewel or picture after submission.
