The Beader’s calendar: February jewel!

I’m always curious when Veronka is designing: thanks to embracing her own style so early on her beading journey, without following lots of classes and tutorials from fellow designers, she continuously manages to transform her creative energy into beautiful, innovative pieces. Her favorites are unique bezels created from lots of sparkly components: cabochons, beads, sew-on components, in combination with different shaped glass beads and Japanese seed beads, of course.

Her Inception ring, the February jewel from the Beader’s Calendar in 2024, is a perfect example!

The Inception ring tutorial is the February jewel of the Beader’s Calendar by Beadingschool.

You receive a luxury quality calendar to hang on the wall, with 12 projects you can bead during the year, designed by the Beadingschool Creative Team (Erika, Zuzi, Veronka), and our friends – designers: Heather Kingsley-Heath, Anita Schackmann, Chloe Menage, Ruxandra Puscas, and more! 🧵🪡 On the first Monday, the tutorial becomes available for the month’s jewel, so today is the time for the second one already. If you don’t have the Calendar yet, you can get it here.  Once you check out successfully, you can download the Inception tutorial for February and the Hint of Light tutorial for January right away – just make sure to remain logged into your account. The Calendar will land on your bead mat very soon!

VERONKA ABOUT THE INCEPTION RING

I wanted to make the ring design for a long time already, so when the opportunity came I immediately went for it! Cold winter blue shades next to warm orange symbolize the first sunshine rays shining and slowly melting the winter. In this design, you will learn how to embellish the peyote bezel in an unusual way and make a truly statement ring!

MATERIAL LIST for one motif:

• 1x 10 mm low cut round glass cabochon
  At the moment, a big box of 10 mm low cut cabochons are traveling to the Beadingschool Treasury. We will have kits for this and all the other Calendar jewels in multiple, too. It takes a bit longer than planned and we apologize for it. Unfortunately a big part of the Team got sick in January, and we had to slow down and give everyone ample time to rest and get well again. We will keep you updated about the kits!

…you can now also bead her Winter Treasures earrings, which she designed from the newest Beadingschool Academy Theme Box: the Aurora Borealis that we are playing with in January-February 2024.

At the moment, Veronka is enjoying time off to welcome her newborn baby. Before we said goodbye to her for some time, she sent me an idea for a color combination and chose a snowflake-shaped component from the historic filigree library waiting for revival.
