Beadingschool has been always more than a website with a bead shop. It’s also community, safe place to be, learn and grow. We all have a different taste for colors and our beading skills vary. Sill, we get together in respect and happiness to share the passion for beading.
Growing from a beginner through advanced and expert level beader is a journey filled with challenges and victories. It requires our patience, dedication, and a willingness to learn. The journey is not just about mastering a beading skill, but also about discovering, asking questions. This is where Beadingschool comes to support and provide answers in the Beadingschool Club. Besides our beaders we have also friends – designers who add their bit into the full learning experience and our skills grow thanks to their tutorials.
Beadingschool’s Birthday is the perfect opportunity to celebrate together! And we all need a new jewel to wear at the party, of course! Our friends – designers: Nitti, Vicky and Ruxi prepared brand new designs for this occassion!
Vicky is a huge fan of Beadingschool Academy! I am always smiling when she writes me after receiving the newest Box: her enthusiasm and happiness seem to grow with every Theme 🙂

Nitti has been beading with us for some years already. She grew her skills in the Beadingschool Club and brought us lots of wonderful color combinations and creative solutions during the past years. When looking at her bead embroidered pieces, I always marvel at her precision – the stitches and components are always perfectly placed, the balance of colours, shapes, and sizes always showing the special talent that this young lady has!
This time Nitti surprised us with a tutorial for a beadwoven jewel. Her PENELOPE beading tutorial for a set of earrings and pendant is waiting for you HERE. What I love about it the most is that you can decide if you would like to make a 5 or a 6 pointed star – Nitti included both versions in the tutorial.
To make sure that you have a nice selection of colours, we just restocked all the Mini Gemduo beads (including the Bundles!) that you need for Nitti’s beautiful jewel.
I still remember vividly the time when I first saw a jewel designed by Ruxandra: it was her entry jewel for the Battle of the Beadsmith competition. Beautiful gemstones and crystals bezeled with lace-like elements – I have never seen something like that before in the beading world, and couldn’t even imagine that something like that can be made – Ruxi proves over and over again that indeed it is 🙂
Ruxi and her designs for Beadingschool are often intricate and require a certain level of beading skills. I think we all can agree that a proper birthday celebration needs a statement jewel – and this is the chance to bead one!
